We believe spiritual growth happens best in the community. Our Sunday school classes and Bible studies offer a safe, encouraging environment for all ages to dive deeper into the bible to discuss what it means for daily life and building lasting relationships and friendships. All classes meet every Sunday morning at 9:45 AM in Southfield. No sign-up is needed. Browse classes below to find the perfect fit for you and your family.  

Children's Sunday School Class (Nursery to 8th Grade)                                                                                                                                                                          Bible Stories, creative play, simple crafts, and learn how to apply the bible to everyday life. Learn how to read the bible in context. Youth will learn how to read the bible in context with the Who, What, When, Where, Why and How. 

Youth Sunday School (Teenagers to Age 24)                                                                                                                                                                                                      Navigating school, friends and social media through a biblical lens.  Youth will learn how to read the bible in context with the Who, What, When, Where, Why and How. 

Men's Sunday School Class (Age 25 and Older)                                                                                                                                                                                           Build friendships, find support and accountability, and connect with other men on a deeper level. Men will learn how to be Godly in the household as a husband, father and leader. Men will learn how to apply biblical truths to work, marriage and personal struggles. Men will learn how to discover your identity and and purpose in Christ. Men will dig deep into scripture. 

Women Sunday School Class (Age 25 and Older)                                                                                                                                                                                              Women will dive deep into the Word of God and strengthen spiritual roots, find real community and faith. Women will grow in wisdom and grace through every season of life. Sunday school class is a imperfect group of women who love Jesus and support one another through the ups and downs of life. Our mission is to help every woman grow closer to God and closer to each other. Women engage in discuss of God Word focusing on practical application to their daily lives. Studies cover topics relevant to women today, such as finding contentment, overcoming anxiety, power of prayer, and discovering your identity in Christ. 

Seniors Class (Age 60 and Older)                                                                                                                                                                                                                  Seniors study verse-by-verse bible studies of the bible along with occasional explorations of the Christian doctrine. Seniors study the book of Romans. The class address challenges of the senior years help them finish strong and leave a lasting and faithful legacy. Seniors learn how to apply biblical wisdom to late-life issues. Lessons are a mix of curriculum, video resources and engaging group discussion. 

Homeless Class (Age 13 and Older)                                                                                                                                                                                                                      The class is a place for church members to prayerfully examine complex issues of hunger and homelessness in our community through biblical lens. Homeless men and women engage every week in bible study on God call to justice and care for the vulnerable, discuss the root causes of homelessness and explore effective and Christ-centered ways to help. Homeless men and women study and learn about the Old and New Testament teachings on caring for the poor. The class will collaborate with local ministries and homeless shelters, organize supply drives and hands-on service projects. Homeless class is a safe, welcoming and judgement-free class for spiritual connection and encouragement. if you are experiencing housing insecurity, our door is open for you.
